Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University Department of Athletics has announced that Head Softball Coach Adrienne Clark has decided to step away from her role to pursue a new professional opportunity.
Clark led the Pride for four seasons, highlighted by a CAA Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in 2023.Â
"After thoughtful reflection, I've decided the time is right for me to pursue a new opportunity and step into the next chapter of my professional journey," Clark said. "I'm incredibly proud of what we've built, and the relationships formed along the way. I want to thank Vice President and Director of Athletics
Rick Cole Jr., President Susan Poser, and the Hofstra community for their support. Most importantly, I want to thank the student-athletes for their belief in the vision of the program and the work they put in every day."
Clark added, "Hofstra will always hold a special place in my heart. I'll be cheering on this team from afar and supporting the program as a proud alum."
