Hofstra Finishes 2025 Campaign With Home Contest

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's lacrosse team will finish the 2025 season on Saturday when it hosts Stony Brook. 

Opening draw control from James M. Shuart Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m. 

The game is part of a Hofstra lacrosse doubleheader with the men's team hosting Towson at 4 p.m. For ticket information visit HofstraTickets.com, call (516) HOF-TIXX, or stop by the Hofstra Athletics Ticket Office in the lobby of the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex during normal business hours. 

Apple Bank will be giving away Hofstra Pride long-sleeve t-shirts at the game!

There will also be a Hofstra-branded headband giveaway for the first 125 fans in attendance!

Hofstra, which has won three of its last four games, is 9-6 overall and 4-3 in CAA play this season. The Pride earned a 15-14 win over Monmouth in their last game behind 11 points (8 G, 3 A) from Nikki Mennella. Megan Flannery added four points on three goals and an assist, while Luchianna Cardello tied her season-high with 12 saves in the win. 

Stony Brook is 12-4 and 7-0 in the league. The Seawolves defeated Drexel, 17-13, in their most recent outing. Riley McDonald had seven points on five goals and two assists, while Casey Colbert had seven points on two goals and five assists. 

Hofstra is 5-8 all-time against Stony Brook.
