Hempstead, NY - A pair of Hofstra women's lacrosse players -
Christine Dannenfelser and
Nikki Mennella - earned Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Regions honors, it was announced today.
Both were named to the Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team.
This is the first all-region accolade for Dannenfelser, while Mennella was a first team selection a season ago.
Dannenfelser had a tremendous season for the Pride as she led the team with 42 ground balls and 37 caused turnovers, while ranking third on the team with 39 draw controls.
An All-CAA First Team selection this year, Dannenfelser's 37 caused turnovers this season is good for third-most in a single season in program history.
Mennella, who was the CAA Attacker of the Year and earned All-CAA First Team accolades this season, totaled 90 points on 65 goals and 25 assists in 2026, while also adding 67 draw controls, 21 ground balls and six caused turnovers.
A four-time CAA Offensive Player of the Week honoree this year, Mennella's 65 goals are the second-most in a single season in program history and her 90 points is good for the third-most in a single season in school history.
