Will Delaney was named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference office this afternoon.
Delaney had an outstanding game for the Pride in their 13-12 double-overtime win over Stony Brook on Saturday.
Delaney posted a career-high three caused turnovers and added two ground balls in the game for the Pride.
He led all players in the game in caused turnovers and in fact had more than the entire Stony Brook roster and was second on the team in ground balls.
He was a huge piece of a Pride defense that only allowed two goals in the final 21-plus minutes of the game.
