Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's lacrosse team will begin CAA play on Friday when the Pride hosts Delaware.
Opening draw control from James M. Shuart Stadium is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Hofstra is 5-2 this season after playing a pair of games last week. The Pride dominated Wagner by the score of 18-6 on Tuesday before closing the week with a narrow 11-8 loss to Rutgers on Saturday.
Nikki Mennella led Hofstra with five points on two goals and three assists against Rutgers, while
Julia Harris also had a pair of goals in the contest.
Luchianna Cardello had a season-best 12 saves in net against the Scarlet Knights.
Delaware is 4-3 in 2025 and most recently dropped a 20-14 decision to Georgetown on Saturday. Jaclyn Marszal had a goal and four assists for the Blue Hens, while Sam Paradise led Delaware with four goals.
Hofstra is 14-21 all-time against Delaware in women's lacrosse. The Pride defeated the Blue Hens, 19-11, in Newark last season and have won three of the last four meetings in the series.
