Pride Looks to Continue Winning Streak Against William & Mary

Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra women's basketball team is looking to make it three consecutive wins in late-season Coastal Athletic Association action, as the Pride travels to Williamsburg, Virginia, to take on William & Mary on Sunday, March 2.
 
Tip-off against the Tribe is set for 1 p.m. from Kaplan Arena.

A 53-47 win over Hampton on Friday improved Hofstra to 11-15 overall and 6-9 in the CAA. Janaia Fargo had a career-high 20 points with six rebounds, and assist, and a steal against the Pirates, while Zyheima Swint scored eight points and pulled down a team-leading nine rebounds, and Ramatoulaye Keita blocked two shots with seven points and eight rebounds for Hofstra.
 
Picked to finish fourth in the CAA Women's Basketball Preseason Poll, William & Mary is currently 11-15 overall and 8-7 in the league after winning 71-51 win over Northeastern. Bella Nascimento averages 16.7 points per game to lead the Tribe in scoring heading into Sunday.

Hofstra trails the all-time series against William & Mary with a 13-19 record. The Pride snapped a five-game losing streak to the Tribe with a 57-53 win in the second round of the 2024 CAA Championship.
