Pride Looks For 3-0 Start Against Siena On Friday

2/12/2025 5:26:00 PM

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse team will look to continue its winning ways when it hosts Siena on Friday. The Pride will be looking for its first 3-0 start to a season since the 2017 team won its first 10 games of the season.

The game was originally slated to be at Siena on Saturday but the game was moved to Hempstead due to the expected inclement weather in Loudonville.

Opening face-off from James M. Shuart Stadium is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Admission is free of charge.

The game will air on FloCollege. Links to the broadcast and live statistics can be found on this page and on the men's lacrosse schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra is 2-0 following last Friday's 17-5 rout of Wagner. Trevor Natalie led the way with five points on three goals and two assists, while Rory Jones (4 G), Anthony Mollica (3 G, 1 A), and Drew Bogardus (3 G) all added hat tricks.

Siena is 0-1 this season after dropping a narrow 9-7 decision against Boston University this past Saturday. Conor Hufnagel led the Saints with four goals in the game.

Friday will be the third all-time meeting between Hofstra and Siena in men's lacrosse. The Pride leads the series, 2-0, and won last season's meeting 14-12. The first-ever meeting was a 7-6 Pride win in 2014.
