Preston Edmead earned his fourth CAA Rookie of the Week honor, it was announced today by the conference office. Edmead earns the award after playing a key role in the Pride's win over Quinnipiac on Sunday.
Edmead previously won the award on December 1, November 17, and November 10.
The four weekly rookie honors are the most for a Pride player since Amar'e Marshall won the award four times during the 2022-23 season.
Edmead scored 18 points, all in the second half, as Hofstra defeated Quinnipiac, 74-66. The second half proved to be the difference as the teams were tied at 31 at halftime before Edmead and the Pride pulled away in the second stanza.
Edmead added a game-high four assists and hit a trio of three-pointers in the game. He started and played 35 minutes.
