Hempstead, NY - Winners of seven consecutive games, the Hofstra men's basketball team will return home to host Monmouth on Saturday.
Tip-off from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Hofstra moved to 12-4 overall and a perfect 3-0 in CAA play with a 78-67 win over Towson on Thursday. The Pride used a key 11-0 first half run to pull away and never looked back in picking up the road victory.
Cruz Davis was outstanding for Hofstra with 32 points and six rebounds, while
Preston Edmead had 18 points and a season-high seven rebounds and
German Plotnikov added a season-best 17 points for the Pride.
Monmouth is 8-8 and 2-1 in conference action following an 81-70 home win over William & Mary on Thursday evening. The Hawks have won two straight and three of their last four games. Jason Rivera-Torres had 19 points and seven rebounds against the Tribe, while Andrew Ball added 18 and Cornelius Robinson III chipped in with 17 points and eight rebounds.
Thursday is the 18th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Monmouth in men's basketball. The Hawks lead the series, 9-8. Monmouth has won three straight in the series but prior to that the Pride had won seven in a row.
