Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University Head Men's Lacrosse Coach
Seth Tierney announced today the group of student-athletes who will serve as team captains in 2026.
Serving as a team captain this season will be:
Blake Cooling,
Will Delaney,
Anthony Mollica,
Trevor Natalie, and
Matt Vilas. Cooling and Vilas are in their second year as team captains.
"We are incredibly proud to name Blake, Will, Anthony, Trevor, and Matt as our captains for the 2026 season. This is a group that embodies everything we strive for as a program, both on and off the field. Their work ethic, their character, and their commitment to their teammates have earned them the respect of our entire locker room. We are confident that their leadership will help guide this team forward and continue to raise the standard for Hofstra Lacrosse."
Cooling, a redshirt senior, has appeared in 41 games for Hofstra. A native of Cary, North Carolina, Cooling is a finance major.
Delaney, also a redshirt senior, has played in 40 games for the Pride. Hailing from Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, Delaney is a finance major.
Mollica, a senior member of the program, has appeared in 35 games during his career. A native of Massapequa Park, New York, Mollica is a finance major.
Natalie, a redshirt senior, has played in 40 games for Hofstra. A native of Stuart, Florida, he is a finance major. Earlier this year, Natalie was selected as the Nick Colleluori Tribute Award recipient and will wear the prestigious #27 this season for the Pride.
Vilas, a redshirt senior, has appeared in 28 games for the Pride. Hailing from Oakville, Ontario, Canada, Vilas is a finance major.
