Hempstead, NY - The postseason schedule continues for the Hofstra women's cross country team as the Pride travel to Contoocook, New Hampshire for the 2025 NCAA Division I Cross Country Northeast Regional Championship at Hopkinton Fairgrounds on Friday.
The women's 6K race is set for 11 a.m., and live race results will be provided by Millennium Running. A link to the live results, as well as a link to the meet information page, is available on this release and on the team schedule page on GoHofstra.com.
The women last raced at the 2025 CAA Championship in Lakewood, New Jersey on October 31. The Pride finished seventh as a team with 214 points. Freshman
Isabella Spagnoli led Hofstra with her fifth place All-CAA finish and time of 21:01.40. Spagnoli was followed by
Isabella Gerena in 48th place with a time of 22:23.00,
Allison Reid in 55th at 22:30.80,
Avery Brawner in 81st with a time of 23:19.30,
Hannah Donzella in 87th at 23:37.10 and
Sophia Briggs in 93rd at 23:48.40.
Macy Neider finished in 95th place, while
Natalie Campisi was 96th,
Brielle Isernia was 100th,Â
Tori Bien was 101st,
Samantha Szabo was 109th, and
Melanie Bogen finished in 112th place with a time of 25:40.40.
Representing the Pride in the NCAA Northeast Regional will be
Avery Brawner,
Sophia Briggs,
Hannah Donzella,
Isabella Gerena,
Macy Neider,
Allison Reid, and
Isabella Spagnoli, according to head coach
Vincent Giambanco. The top two teams in the 6K race will automatically qualify for the 2025 Cross Country Championship, while the top four runners who finished within the top 25 at the Regional from teams that did not qualify will advance to the Championship.
