Isabella Spagnoli of the Hofstra women's track and field team broke Hofstra's 3000m program record on Saturday at Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invitational.
Spagnoli finished 88th out of the 207 competitor field with a personal best and program record breaking time of 9:38.37. Jordyn McDonnell held the previous record time of 9:41.13, which she set at Boston University's John Thomas Terrier Classic in 2023.
Spagnoli and the Hofstra women's indoor track and field team return to action for the Coastal Athletic Association Indoor Track & Field Championships from February 22-23, at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston, Massachusetts.
