Isabella Spagnoli led the Hofstra women's indoor track & field team with her fourth place finish in the women's 3000m race at the 2026 Coastal Athletic Association Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship on Sunday, February 22, from the TRACK at New Balance in Boston, Massachusetts. As a team, the Hofstra women earned five points to finish in 12th place, while Elon earned the championship title with 135 points.
Spagnoli finished the 3000m race with a time of 9:43.65 to place fourth out of the 17-competitor field. In the preliminary events, women's soccer student-athlete
Jadyn Hsu finished the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.50 to place 16th, while
Lilian Brine finished the 60m dash in 26th place with a time of 8.40. Hofstra's 4x800m relay team consisting of
Avery Brawner,
Julia Mills,
Sophia Briggs, and
Eva Mathew finished with a time of 10:36.98, while the 4x400m relay team (
Tori Bien,
Brielle Isernia,
Amanda Hinojos,
Jordan Slovensky) finished with a time of 4:41.71, placing 9th in both events.
Allison Reid, Isernia, Bien, and
Hannah Donzella earned a 10th place finish and time of 12:56.29 in the women's distance medley relay.
Sharyn-Nicole Thomas record a 8.78m throw to finish in 17th place in the women's shot put event.
The Pride return to action to begin their outdoor track & field season on Sunday, March 15, at the Stony Brook Snowflake Classic in Stony Brook, New York.
