Hofstra Heads To Stony Brook, Looks To Extend Winning Streak

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's soccer team takes their four-game winning streak east on Long Island Saturday night for a CAA contest at Stony Brook. Kickoff from LaValle Stadium is set for 6:31 p.m.

The game will be streamed live on FloCollege with live statistics also available. An online audio only broadcast courtesy of WRHU-FM (88.7) will also be available. Links can be found above or on the men's soccer schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

The Pride enters the game with a record of 8-4-0 overall and 4-1 in the CAA. The Pride defeated the Seawolves, 3-0, in the first meeting at Captains Field on September 13. Laurie Goddard scored twice and Daniel Burko once to back a shutout from Gino Cervoni (4 saves). 

Stony Brook is 4-3-4 on the season and owns a 1-2-1 mark in conference play. The Seawolves have not played since a 2-2 draw at Rhode Island on September 30. 

Hofstra is 20-12-7 all-time against Stony Brook.

Following Saturday's game, Hofstra will return to action on Tuesday, October 21 at Fordham.
