Hempstead, NY - A pair of Pride players earned CAA honors this week as junior Beatriz Braga was named the CAA Offensive Player of the Week, while freshman Nina Jioshvili-Ravva picked up CAA Rookie of the Week accolades. 

It is the first weekly CAA award this season for Braga, while Jioshvili-Ravva captures her second CAA award in 2025 after being the rookie of the week on September 22. 

Braga had an outstanding week in leading the Pride to a pair of weekend sweeps of Elon. Braga totaled a team-best 30 kills, while also adding 14 digs, six blocks, three service aces, and two assists. She also hit at a .436 clip in the two matches. 

On Saturday, she tallied a match-high 18 kills and added eight digs in the three-set sweep. She hit .394 in the match and added three blocks and a service ace. 

Sunday would see Braga once again garner match-high honors with 12 kills, and this time she did it on just 22 swings with only one hitting error for a .500 attack percentage. She added six digs, three blocks, and a pair of service aces. 

For the week she averaged 5.00 kills, 2.33 digs, 1.00 blocks, and 0.50 service aces per set. 

It was an incredible week for Jioshvili-Ravva as she led the way in the two wins. 

On Saturday, she totaled 44 assists, five digs, and three blocks in the sweep. 

She followed that up with 26 assists, seven service aces, six digs, four blocks, and a pair of kills in Sunday's win. The seven service aces are the most for a Hofstra player since Constanza Perez Sain had eight against Navy on August 31, 2024. 

Jioshvili-Ravva "quarterbacked" the Hofstra offense to a spectacular .330 attack percentage in the two matches. 

For the week, she averaged 11.67 assists, 1.83 digs, 1.17 service aces, 1.17 blocks, and 0.50 kills per set.
