Beatriz Braga had 18 kills and eight digs to lead the Hofstra volleyball team to a three-set sweep of Elon on Saturday afternoon at the David S. Mack Physical Education Center.
Izadora Stedile added 15 kills and six digs, while
Nina Jioshvili-Ravva tallied 44 assists.
Nil Kayaalp posted 15 digs to lead the defensive efforts.
Hofstra improved to 10-2 overall and 3-2 in league play with the win. Elon dropped to 4-10 and suffered its first CAA loss of the season and dropped to 2-1 in conference action. Set scores were 25-19, 28-26, and 25-17.
The Pride hit at a .324 clip in the contest, including match-high .355 in the first stanza.
Lilia Duczek saw the first extended playing time of the season and contributed a team-best seven blocks for the Pride, which also got 10 kills from
Constanza Perez Sain.
Clara Simmons and Catherine Rucker each tallied nine kills for Elon.
The Pride and the Phoenix will meet on Sunday at 2 p.m. to close the weekend series.

- Hofstra has won three straight matches against Elon and improved to 13-5 all-time in the series.
- Braga led Hofstra in kills for her team-leading sixth time this season and reached double figures for the eighth time in 2025.
