Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will open the 2025-26 season on Monday, November 3 when the Pride travels to Orlando to take on the UCF Knights. 

Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. from Addition Financial Arena. 

The game will air on ESPN+. WRHU (88.7 FM) will have an audio-only broadcast as well. 

Hofstra is coming off a 15-win season in 2024-25. The Pride returns six players from last season and welcomes nine newcomers to this season's roster. Leading the way among the returnees is Cruz Davis, who garnered Preseason All-CAA First Team accolades. 

UCF went 20-17 a season ago, falling in the championship game of the College Basketball Crown. 

This will be the first-ever meeting between Hofstra and UCF.
