Hofstra Opens CAA Play Saturday At Campbell

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University women's lacrosse team travels to CAA newcomer Campbell University for the conference opener on Saturday, March 16. Game time in Buies Creek, North Carolina is set for 12 p.m.

Hofstra enters CAA play with a 3-4 record and is coming off a tough 13-11 loss at Connecticut this past Tuesday. Melissa Sconone had five goals in the game. 

Campbell is 3-4 on the season and is coming off a 19-11 victory over Manhattan this past Monday. Ally Heath led the offense with five goals and an assist, while Bridget Ahlgren added four goals and an assist. 

Saturday's game will mark the first meeting between the Pride and the Camels in women's lacrosse.

Following the road game, Hofstra will return home to host William & Mary on March 22 at 5 p.m. and Elon on March 24 at 12 p.m.
