Tyler Thomas was named the CAA Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference office this morning.
Thomas earns the award for the third time this season after previously capturing the honor on November 27 and February 5.
It was another incredible week for Thomas as he led the way as the Pride extended its win streak to three games.
Thomas opened up his week with a 28-point performance in a huge win over Drexel on Thursday. He added a career-high five steals, along with three rebounds and three assists in the game. Thomas drained four three-pointers and was a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line.
Thomas would put the exclamation point on the outstanding week as he had 25 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals on "Senior Night" in the Pride's rout of Elon on Saturday. He hit another five three-pointers in the game.
For the week he averaged 26.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 steals, and 3.5 assists per game.
The Pride is now 18-11 overall and 11-5 in conference play heading into the final week of the regular season.
