Love Earns Second Place Finish at METS Indoor Championships

Staten Island, NY - Hofstra men's indoor track and field senior Nile Love earned a second place finish in the long jump at the METS Indoor Championships at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York.

Love recorded a mark of 6.84m to earn a top-10 finish and place second in the long jump. Wagner's Ryan Lane took first with a 7.08m jump. 

Brian Beck and Trevor Zappulla scored top-10 finishes on Friday afternoon. Beck finished ninth in the 5000m run with a time of 15:43.01, while Brendan Capodanno finished with a time of 16:03.06 to place 13th and Aiden Willey placed 18th with a time of 17:31.55. Zappulla ran a time of 2:02.28 to finish 10th in the 800m run. 

Also competing for the Pride was Nayan Chatterjee in the 60m dash prelims, Cade Jaipaul in the 400m dash, Sameer Grewal and Zachary Kohner in the 800m, Alec Padron, Greg Franzetti, and Vis Haripal in the 200m, and Adam Gordon in the long jump.
