Thu, Cartnal Set Personal Bests At FastTrack Nationals

Staten Island, NY - William Thu and James Cartnal each ran personal best times in the 5000 meter run, while Nile Love posted a top 10 finish in the long jump invitational as Hofstra competed at the FastTrack National Invitational Friday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

Thu posted a time of 15:27.28 to place 22nd in the 5000, while Cartnal finished 23rd in a time of 15:29.32. Love finished 10th in the long jump with a distance of 6.80 meters.

Hofstra will be back in action Saturday at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational.
