Hempstead, NY – Following a four-game swing of trips to The Bronx, Pennsylvania, and Florida, the Hofstra women's basketball team returns to the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex for two consecutive home games, beginning on Sunday, December 8, against Howard.

Following a 75-48 defeat to Florida on Monday, Hofstra enters Sunday with a 2-5 record.
Chloe Sterling finished Monday's game against the Gators with 19 points, while
LaNae' Corbett posed nine points and even rebounds, and
Ramatoulaye Keita led the Pride in rebounding for the second straight game with eight.
Howard is currently 5-3 on the year following a 69-63 loss on Friday at Georgetown. Destiny Howell is the team's top scorer, averaging 17.0 points per game. The Bison will face Seton Hall in New Jersey on Friday before making the trip to Hempstead on Sunday.
Sunday will be just the fourth all-time meeting in women's basketball between Hofstra and Howard, with the Bison owning a 2-1 advantage over the Pride. Hofstra won it's first game over Howard in last season's showdown, a 58-49 victory in Washington, D.C.
