Hofstra is No. 8 in the Top Drawer Poll and No. 14 in the United Soccer Coaches rankings

Hofstra Earns First-Ever Top 10 Ranking; Climbs In Both Polls

Hempstead, NY - Following a 2-0 week that included a win over No. 14 Elon, the Hofstra University men's soccer team climbed in both national polls and earned the first Top 10 ranking in program history in the Top Drawer Soccer Poll.

The Pride (8-1-1) climbed 11 spots in the Top Drawer Soccer Poll to check in at No. 8. It is Hofstra's first Top 10 ranking in any national poll. In the United Soccer Coaches Poll, Hofstra jumped eight spots to sit at No. 14 in the rankings.

In addition, Hofstra and Elon traded spots in the United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Region rankings. The Pride reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the poll, while the Phoenix dropped to No. 2.

Hofstra will be back in action Saturday at Drexel. Kickoff in Philadelphia is at 1 p.m.
