Three Runners Run Personal Best Times In Boston; Love Competes In NY To Kick Off 2024 Season

New York, NY | Boston, MA - Abraham Longosiwa, Jamie Cartnal, and William Thu of Hofstra men's indoor track and field ran personal best times in the mens 3000m race at Boston University's John Thomas Terrier Classic on Friday. Nile Love participated in the long jump at Columbia University's Dr. Sander Invitational at The Armory in New York, New York.

At the Terrier Classic, Longosiwa finished 26th with a personal best time of 8:09.72 in the men's 3000m run, while Thu finished with a personal best time of 8:50.20 to place 136th, and Cartnal finished in 8:56.74, another personal best, to place 144th out of 153 runners. 

In New York, Love finished 26th in the long jump with a mark of 6.49m (21' 3.50"), finishing 0.04 meters behind Davis Flanagan of New York University. Brown's Zachary Love placed first with a mark of 7.45m (24' 5.50"). 

The Pride will race next on Friday, February 2nd at the METS Track and Field Championships.
