Boston, MA - Hofstra men's cross country junior
Zach Van Houten represented the Pride at Boston College's Battle in Beantown 8K race.
Van Houten, an East Meadow, New York, native finished in a time of 24:36.7, placing him 25th in the 142-runner field. Harvard's Graham Blanks took first and finished the 8K race in 23:26.0. Ryan Kinnane from Auburn finished in 23:48.9 and took second place. As a team, Harvard won with 47 points. Northeastern and Cornell followed with 98 and 116 points, respectively.
Hofstra will be back in action on Saturday, October 7 at the METS Championships in Newark, New Jersey. Race time is set for 12:45 p.m.
