Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse team will host longtime rival Towson on Saturday at James M. Shuart Stadium.
The game, part of a Hofstra lacrosse doubleheader, will see the men face-off at 3 p.m. after the women host Delaware at 12 p.m. Prior to the men's game, the program will honor its 10 seniors (

Hofstra picked up a dominating 12-6 road win over Monmouth on Saturday to improve to 3-7 and 1-2 in Colonial Athletic Association play.
Gerard Kane had five points on four goals and one assist, while
Colton Rudd tallied four points on two goals and two assists.
Mac Gates made 15 saves in net for the Pride. Kane leads the team with 26 points on 15 goals and 11 assists this season.
Towson is 2-7 overall and also 1-2 in CAA action. The Tigers dropped a 13-12 road game at Stony Brook on Saturday. Kyle Berkeley had four points on three goals and one assist, while Nick DeMaio added four points on two goals and two assists. Berkeley has 27 points on 16 goals and 11 assists this year.
Saturday will be the 54th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Towson in men's lacrosse. The Pride leads the all-time series, 29-24, in a series that began in 1961. Hofstra won last year's meeting, 15-14, in Towson, Maryland. The rivalry is Hofstra's second-most played opponent all-time as the 53 current meetings only trails the 54 all-time meetings between Hofstra and Army West Point. After Saturday, the Hofstra/Towson rivalry will be tied for the Pride's most played opponent all-time.
