Hofstra Hosts Successful Hofstra Invitational

Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra men's outdoor track program hosted its third home meet in two seasons from Kellenberg Memorial High School with the Hofstra Invitational, welcoming local and regional opponents LIU and St. Peter's in a three-team competition.
 
Nile Love was the highlight of the day for the Hofstra men, as the junior jumper finished second in the long jump with a mark of 6.42 meters, finishing just behind Michael Illesanmi of St. Peter's with a mark of 6.74 meters. Cade Jaipaul also scored a second place finish for the Pride in the 400m dash, clocking in with a time of 56.37 for a new personal-best.
 
Hofstra is back in action on May 5-6 from Williamsburg, Virginia for the 2023 Colonial Athletic Association Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
