Hofstra Second After One Round At South Jersey Kick-Off

Ocean View,  NJ - Joseph Giamanco and Dino Capazario stand in the top five and Hofstra is in second place as a team following the first round of the South Jersey Kick-Off, hosted by Iona at Shore Gate Golf Club.

Giamanco shot a 76 (+4) and is tied for second in the 48-player field, one stroke off the lead. Capazario is tied for fourth at 77 (+5). Vincent Apostolico shot an 80 (+8) and is tied for 14h-place. Taishi Shigaki is tied for 19th following an 82 (+10), while Jaxon Hummel is tied for 24th at 83 (+11). Mayaank Gally, playing as an individual entrant, shot an 88 (+16) and is tied for 39th-place.

The Pride shot a 315 (+27) as a team and is in second place in the seven-team field. Hofstra is just one stroke behind first round leader La Salle.

Travis Dix of Monmouth is the individual leader after shooting a 75 (+3) Saturday. 

Final round play at the South Jersey Kick-Off gets underway Sunday morning.
