Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's lacrosse team will host its first Colonial Athletic Association game of the season on Saturday when it entertains Towson in the opening game of a Pride lacrosse doubleheader.
Opening draw control from James M. Shuart Stadium is slated for 12 p.m.

Hofstra is 3-6 overall on the year and 0-1 in conference play after dropping a narrow 13-12 decision in its league opener at William & Mary on Saturday.
Kerry Walser had four goals and three draw controls against the Tribe, while
Rachel Graff added three goals and an assist in the game.
Towson is 6-3 and 1-0 in the league. The Tigers are coming off a 15-14 double overtime win at Vanderbilt on Tuesday.
Hofstra is 18-26 all-time against Towson with the Tigers winning last year's game 11-10 in overtime in Hempstead. In fact, the last three meetings between the teams and four of the last five games have been decided by one goal.
