Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University Head Men's Basketball Coach Speedy Claxton announced today the addition of Lual Manyang. He will be a freshman with the Pride in the fall of 2022. 

Manyang, a 6-11 forward/center from South Sudan, Africa, currently attends the Blair Academy in Blairstown Township, New Jersey.

Manyang averaged nearly 10 points per game during the 2021-22 season. 

A highly-rated recruit, he was listed by 247Sports as the 17th best center and 142nd best overall player in the class of 2022. ESPN100 lists Manyang as a three-star recruit, the eighth-best recruit in the state of New Jersey, and the 49th best center in the nation in the class of 2022.
