Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's lacrosse team will host Elon in a key Colonial Athletic Association contest on Saturday in the program's regular season finale.

First draw control from James M. Shuart Stadium is scheduled for 12 p.m. The senior day ceremony will begin at 11:35 a.m.

Prior to the game, the program will honor its 11 seniors. Those being recognized include graduate students Arianna Esposito, Katie Whelan, and Shannon Boyle and seniors Jess Smith, Erin Demek, Jackie Gatti, Erin Tierney, Camryn Faith, Amanda Guerra, Anna Kaufmann, and Grace Langella

The game will air on FloLive and WRHU (88.7 FM) will have an audio only broadcast available as well on the Hofstra Alternative Web Channel. Links to both can be found on this page and on the women's lacrosse schedule page at GoHofstra.com.

The CAA Championship field is still undecided heading into the final weekend of conference play. Hofstra will qualify for the conference championship with a win. The Pride can also qualify with a loss due to various tiebreakers.

Hofstra is 8-7 overall and 2-3 in Colonial Athletic Association play following an 18-11 win over William & Mary this past Saturday.

Elon brings a 5-10 overall record and a 1-4 conference mark into Saturday's game. The Phoenix dropped a 14-13 decision to Drexel last Saturday.

This will be the sixth all-time meeting between the teams with Elon holding a narrow 3-2 lead in the series. The Pride won the last meeting in 2019 by a score of 10-6.
