Chase Patterson finished the day 15-27 on face-offs and led all players with eight ground balls, and Mac Gates made 11 saves in the win.

McIntosh's three-goal afternoon puts him at 19 goals on the season, good for the team lead, while Gerard Kane stands second on the roster with 18 goals after scoring once on Saturday. Kane and Matt Elder have each assisted 12 times this season to lead the team. Bryan McIntosh continues his stellar 2022 season, as the graduate student defenseman leads the nation with 34 caused turnovers and is second in Division I with 2.83 caused turnovers per game. In goal, Gates leads the conference with a .535 save percentage and is second in the CAA in Goals-Against Average (10.61) and saves per game (12.17).

The defending CAA champions and the preseason pick to finish first in the conference, Drexel comes into James M. Shuart Stadium at 5-5 overall and 1-1 in the CAA following a 19-18 win over Fairfield this past Saturday. Returning All-CAA Second Team selection Jack Mulcahy leads the Dragons with 34 points on 21 assists and 13 goals, while Max Semple leads the team with 29 goals.
