Hempstead, NY – Hofstra will return to James M. Shuart Stadium for the first of three consecutive home games, starting this Tuesday, March 8, against Binghamton.

Mac Gates, who made 17 saves and scooped up four ground balls, Hofstra suffered an 8-6 setback against Villanova on Saturday in the first road game of the season for the Pride.
Justin Sykes led the offense with two goals and an assist on the day and
Matt Elder finished with a goal and an assist. 3-3 on the year now, Elder (6 G, 8 A) and
Gerard Kane (9 G, 5 A) lead the team with 14 points, while Sykes and
Rory Jones have seven goals each.
Bryan McIntosh leads the defense with 17 caused turnovers and 26 ground balls, and Gates has posted a 9.43 goals against average and has a .582 save percentage.
Binghamton enters Tuesday at 1-3 following a 17-11 loss to Bucknell on Saturday. The Bearcats are led offensively by Kevin Winkoff. with 11 goals and four assists, and Andrew Arce with five goals and four assists. Hofstra has won all three meetings against Binghamton, but this will be the first meeting since 2005.
