West Point, NY – The indoor track season for the Hofstra men's track team continued on Saturday at the West Point Tune-Up from inside the Gillis Field House.

Hofstra had nine entrants compete in the 60m dash, two in the 200m dash and 800m, and one in the 1000m. Holger Maaloe represented the Pride in the 60m dash and the 200m, and he finished with times of 7.49 in the 60m dash preliminaries and 25.12 in the 200m. Roc Carles also ran for the Pride and finished 30^th in the 800m with a time of 2:16.06, finishing first in his section, and he also ran in the 60m dash preliminaries and clocked in at 8.23. In the 1000m, Andrew Giovinazzo completed the race in a time of 2:50.61.

Hofstra returns to competition this Sunday, February 27, at the BU Last Chance Meet. This will be the third competition at Boston University that Hofstra has competed at; the first being the John Thomas Terrier Classic on January 30, and the second at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on February 12.
