Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra field hockey team returns home for a weekend of Colonial Athletic Association action, as the Pride hosts Monmouth on Friday, October 14, before hosting #25 William & Mary on Sunday, October 16. Friday's game is set to start at 3 p.m., and the opening draw on Sunday is scheduled for 1 p.m.
The Hofstra field hockey program is honored to partner with Morgan's Message and help bring awareness about student-athlete mental health prior to Friday's game. Morgan's Message amplifies stories, resources, and expertise to confront student-athlete mental health, builds a community by and for athletes, and provides a platform for advocacy. Morgan's Message strives to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community and equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics. We aim to expand the dialogue on mental health by normalizing conversations, empowering those who suffer in silence, and supporting those who feel alone.
Both games will be live streamed on FloLive with audio commentary provided by WRHU-FM (88.7), and live statistics will be available for each game. These links can be found on this page and the schedule page at GoHofstra.com.
