Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University Head Volleyball Coach Emily Mansur announced today that graduate student Ana Martinovic, junior Sarah Pierre, and sophomore Damla Tokman have been named captains for the season. 

"I am thrilled to recognize these three outstanding women," commented Mansur. "Ana, Sarah, and Damla have exhibited true leadership for our team and I know they will be great examples for our team to follow."

Martinovic, the most experienced member of the Pride, is now in her fifth season on the roster. Martinovic was an All-Colonial Athletic Association performer a season ago. 

Now in her third year on the roster, Pierre was a member of the inaugural class of the Colonel E. David Woycik, Jr. (Ret) Esq. Pride Leadership Academy. 

Tokman earns the captain's nod in just her second year with the program.
