Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse team will welcome Fairfield to James M. Shuart Stadium on Friday, April 30, as the Pride looks to punch their ticket to the four-team Colonial Athletic Association Championship.
Opening face-off for Friday's game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The game will be streamed live on the Lax Sports Network, while WRHU will carry an audio broadcast of Friday's game. The Pride enters Friday's game sporting a 6-5 overall record and a mark of 3-4 in the conference following a 12-8 road loss to Drexel. Senior
Ryan Tierney paces the team in all scoring categories with 38 goals and 17 assists for 55 points, and he has tallied 25 ground balls this season. Graduate student
Justin Lynskey stands second on the team with 36 points on 21 goals and 15 assists. Senior
Brian Herber continues his fine season as one of the top face-off specialists in the country, with a .654 face-off percentage on 153-234 from the circle and 87 ground balls. Graduate student

Tom Ford pace the Pride on defense with 13 and 11 caused turnovers, respectively. Redshirt senior
Bobby Casey has totaled 67 saves, a .465 save percentage, and a 10.90 GAA in seven starts this season.
At 2-8 and 0-7 in the CAA, Fairfield heads to Hempstead following a 21-14 loss against Massachusetts last Saturday. The Stags are led by Dylan Beckwith with 47 points on 23 goals and 24 assists, followed by Matt Chlastawa and his 25 points on 12 goals and 13 assists. Colin Consoli has played in 10 games with nine starts for the Stags in 2021, and has recorded 135 saves, a save percentage of .482, and a 14.83 goals against average.
Saturday's game will be just the 13th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Fairfield, with the Pride holding a 7-5 record in the series. The teams played earlier this year in Fairfield, Connecticut, with the Pride coming away with 15-7 win over the Stags in Hofstra's conference opener on March 26.
