Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University wrestling student-athlete Zachary Knighton-Ward earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships, which begin next week in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He joins teammate Ricky Stamm, who was an automatic qualifier at 165 pounds.

The 285-pounder finished fourth at the EIWA Championships this past weekend, missing an automatic qualifying spot by one place. The Rosedale, New York, native will enter the NCAA Championships with a record of 21-13 on the season. He went 2-2 at the EIWA Championships.

Both Knighton-Ward and Stamm will be making their first NCAA Championships appearance.

Seeds and brackets for the NCAA Championships will be announced Wednesday at approximately 6 p.m.
