HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The Hofstra University women's track team is slated to compete at the UAlbany Winter Classic on Friday, February 7. The meet will take place at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island, N.Y.

Last Time Out:
The last time that Hofstra competed as more than just an individual was on Saturday December 7 at the Army West Point Crowell Open at the Gillis Field House at the United States Military Academy.
 
Hofstra entered nine student-athletes in the 60m dash at the meet, including Ibironke who finished second among Hofstra competitors and 19th overall with a time of 7.65 seconds in the spring. Licciardi finished fourth for Hofstra and 27th overall (7.91 seconds), Yarkosky finished 28th (8.30 seconds) and Markovina was also in the top-30 with a time of 9.69 seconds.
 
In addition, Rynkowski placed 13th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.54, Price was just behind, finishing 16th in 58.64 seconds, while Pires (1:00.36) and Masterson (1:01.78) also competed in the event and finished in 18th and 19th, respectively.
