Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's basketball team will conclude its three-game homestand on Saturday when the Pride hosts UNCW. The Pride enters the game having won five straight contests and are in first place in the Colonial Athletic Association. 

Tip-off from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex is scheduled for 4 p.m.

Hofstra is 19-7 and 10-3 in CAA play after a 76-63 win over Charleston on Thursday. The Pride has won five straight to take over first place in the conference standings. Senior Eli Pemberton posted a career and season-high tying 28 points to lead Hofstra to the convincing victory. 

The Seahawks enter Saturday with an 8-19 overall mark and a 3-11 CAA record following a 71-63 loss at Northeastern on Thursday. Marten Linssen had 20 points to pace UNCW. 

Thursday will mark the 44th all-time meeting between Hofstra and UNCW with a very close series seeing the Seahawks holding a narrow 22-21 lead. The series got underway when the Pride joined the CAA in 2001-02. The teams split the two meetings a year ago, with both winning on their respective home courts. Hofstra won this season's earlier meeting, 63-61.
