Joe Mihalich has high hopes for the 2019-20 season as the Pride returns seven players from last season record-breaking 27-win campaign, including three starters. Leading the way are seniors
Desure Buie and
Eli Pemberton as the due returns after strong seasons a year ago. Buie was third on the team with 10.7 points per game and led the Pride with 5.2 assists per game, while Pemberton is Hofstra's top returning scorer at 15.0 points per game and ranked second in rebounding (4.8) and third in assists (2.3).

Reserved season tickets for Hofstra Women's Basketball are just $75 each!
The Hofstra women's basketball season looks to be an exciting one, as first year head coach
Danielle Santos Atkinson takes over the program after spending time at high profile institutions such as the University of Pittsburgh, Florida State University, and the University of Kentucky. Santos has experienced incredible success everywhere she has been in her career, compiling six NCAA Tournament appearances and four WNIT appearances.
Thirteen members of the Pride will return for the 2019-20 season, including a large senior class of six and as well as a balanced attack of four core starters. Seniors
E'Lexus Davis and
Ana Hernandez Gil will look to make the most impact on the exterior, while forwards
Marianne Kalin and
Jaylen Hines will be two major forces underneath the basket. In addition to the starting rotation, Hofstra returns a young but experienced bench which provided substantial minutes during the 2018-19 campaign.
Both teams are looking forward to an exciting season and we can't wait to see our fans cheering them on!
