Olivia Galati, a pitcher on the Hofstra softball team from 2010-13, finished her Pride career as one of the most decorated student-athletes in Hofstra history. Galati tossed her way to three CAA Championships and was named the Tournament's Most Outstanding Player all three times. In addition, she accumulated three NCAA Tournament appearances, including the program's first-ever super regional appearance in 2012.

Galati was named the Colonial Athletic Association Pitcher of the Year all four years at Hofstra and was named to the First Team as many times. In addition, Galti garnered four NFCA All-Northeast Region nods, and was tabbed an NFCA All-American twice including First Team honors in 2012. Academically, Galati was a standout in the classroom as well, as she earned CoSIDA Academic All-America recognition as a senior.

Galati holds nearly every pitching record at Hofstra, as she is atop all players in total appearances (183), starts (159), most innings pitched (1,092.2), wins (129), strikeouts (1,495), and no-hitters (12). She also holds the top-three single-season strikeout marks and four out of the top-five. In addition, Galati fired a career-high 0.95 ERA during her junior season which led the nation. Within the CAA, Galati holds the conference record for wins, innings pitched, strikeouts and is second in ERA. Â
