Fairfield improved to 6-1 on the season with their fourth consecutive victory while the Pride slipped to 1-6 with their sixth straight loss.

Profita's goal came off a penalty corner as Sam Giordano fired a shot that Profita tipped into the goal past Bosma. The Stags outshot the Pride, 18-4, recording nine shots in each half. Fairfield also took nine penalty corners to Hofstra's five. Stag goalie Zoe Rosen needed to make only one save as she recorded her second shutout of the year.
