Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra Women's Lacrosse team will look to continue its strong play as the Pride prepares for Colonial Athletic Association action with a non-conference game against New Hampshire on Thursday.
First draw control from James M. Shuart Stadium is slated for 7 p.m. The game against the Wildcats is one of two remaining non-conference games on the Pride's schedule as Hofstra will begin CAA action on April 6 against Elon.

Hofstra is now 5-4 and has won two straight heading into the game against UNH. Five different members of the Pride have reached double figures in points this season as sophomore

Drew Shapiro has 14 and junior
Jenna Budd has 12. Parrella leads the team in both goals and assists with 29 and 11, respectively. Parrella and Mattera are tops in draw controls with 37 and 33, while sophomore
Darcie Smith and senior
Carlee Ancona have 17 ground balls to lead the squad. Matter has a team-best 11 caused turnovers.
New Hampshire is 3-5 and most recently defeated UMBC, 11-9, on March 24. Krissy Schafer leads the Wildcats with 21 goals and Carly Wooters is second on the team in scoring with 18 points on 13 goals and five assists.
Hofstra leads the all-time series with New Hampshire, 11-8. The Pride has won two of the last three meetings in the series, including a 13-10 victory in Durham last season.
