Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra Men's Basketball team will begin an important three-game road swing on Wednesday when it travels to Monmouth.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from the OceanFirst Bank Center.

The game against the Hawks starts a three-game stretch for the Pride that will see Hofstra travel to Monmouth, Rider (December 9) and Stony Brook (December 12).
Hofstra (4-3) is coming off a dominating 107-72 victory over Molloy on November 30 as junior

Rokas Gustys posted 14 points and 15 rebounds for his 38th career double-double. The 107 points were the most by a Hofstra team since scoring 118 against Wagner on January 28, 1972.
Monmouth most recently dropped a narrow 84-81 overtime decision at Connecticut on Saturday to fall to 3-5 this season. The Hawks last win was over Albany on November 27 and prior to that they played an incredible four overtime contest against Penn on November 25, a 101-96 loss.
Hofstra is 1-6 all-time against Monmouth. The teams first met in the 1983-84 season with Hofstra capturing a 77-43 victory. The Hawks have won the last six meetings, though, including a narrow 88-84 victory to open the 2013-14 season,
