Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra Men's Basketball team will return to the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex on Thursday when it hosts Molloy.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at HofstraTickets.com, by calling (516) HOF-TIXX or by visiting the Hofstra Athletics Box Office in the lobby of the Mack Sports Complex.
There will be Pride Productions live video/audio of the game, as well as live statistics. Links to all can be found on this page or on the men's basketball schedule page at GoHofstra.com.
Hofstra (3-3) will look to end a short three-game losing skid when it hits the floor on Thursday against Molloy. The Pride most recently dropped its first true road game of the season, 85-76, at Siena on Saturday despite 18 points and 15 rebounds from senior
Rokas Gustys and 25 points from junior
Justin Wright-Foreman. For Gustys, the 15 rebounds put him over 1,000 for his career as he now has 1,002 to rank third all-time in program history (second in NCAA Division I era) and ninth all-time in Colonial Athletic Association history.
Molloy will bring a 1-5 mark into Thursday's game as the Lions most recently dropped a 79-70 decision to Assumption on Sunday. Molloy, an NCAA Division II member of the East Coast Conference, has also faced St. John's this season and fell 71-43 to the Red Storm on November 20. The Pride and the Lions have faced each other once prior with Hofstra capturing a 96-64 win over Molloy on November 16, 2015.
Following this contest, Hofstra will play all six of its December games away from the Mack Sports Complex as the month begins with a three-game road swing to Monmouth (December 2), Rider (December 9) and Stony Brook (December 12). The Pride will then "host" Manhattan in a home game on December 20 that will be played on the campus of Adelphi University due to Hofstra's Commencement taking place that evening in the Mack Sports Complex. The Pride's final non-conference game of the season will be against Villanova on Friday, December 22 at the Nassau Coliseum.
