MGOLF: Hofstra Wraps Up Fall Season With 10th Place Finish At Lehigh

Bethlehem, PA - Kyle Ritchie posted the best round of the day for the Pride, a 75 (+3), while Alec Aronson was the Pride's top finisher at the Lehigh Invitational at Saucon Valley Country Club.

Aronson, who shot a 76 (+4) Saturday, tied for 15th place in the 66-player field at 151 (+7). Ritchie tied for 30th at 155 (+11). Sean Cavanaugh, who was in a tie for second after the first round, slipped to a tie for 33rd after his 83 (+11) gave him a two-round 156 (+12). Eric Shelly tied for 41st at 158 (+14) following a second round 80 (+8), while Kenyon Kautz tied for 59th place at 161 (+17) after an 84 (+12) Saturday.

The Pride finished 10th in the 12-team field after starting the day tied for second. The Pride shot a 314 (+26) Saturday to finish with a two-round 617 (+41). Lehigh won the team title at 581 (+5), 16 strokes ahead of second place Bucknell.

Lehigh's Johnny Hsu was the individual winner at 143 (-1). Teammate Billy Johns also shot a 143, but Hsu was declared the winner based on matching of cards. Hsu shot a 70 (-2) Saturday compared to a 72 (E) for Johns.

The Lehigh Invitational was the final event of the fall season for the Pride.
