Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra Men's Basketball team will continue its three-game homestand on Thursday when it takes on Delaware at 7 p.m. from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.

In addition to the game there will be a bevy of activity surrounding Hofstra Athletics and the University. During the game, the Hofstra Men's Soccer team will be honored for winning the regular season Colonial Athletic Association title and Head Coach
Richard Nuttall will be recognized for earning CAA Coach of the Year honors.
The highlight of the night's ceremonies will be the annual halftime Scholar-Athlete academic recognition ceremony, which honors the outstanding academic achievement of the Pride student-athletes.
Hofstra is 10-13 overall and 2-8 in conference action following an 84-70 loss to Elon last Saturday at the Mack Sports Complex. The shorthanded Pride were without two starters in the game that was close throughout before the Phoenix pulled away late. Senior

Justin Wright-Foreman led Hofstra with 20 points. Junior
Hunter Sabety earned the first start of his Hofstra career and chipped in with 11 points, five rebounds and two blocked shots.
Wright-Foreman increased his scoring average to a team-best 15.4 points per game with his fourth straight game of at least 18 points.
Delaware is 9-14 and an identical 2-8 in league play after defeating James Madison, 66-61, on Saturday. Ryan Daly leads the Blue Hens with 14.7 points and 6.8 rebounds per game this season.
This is the second of two regular season meetings between the teams this year as Hofstra opened up CAA play with a 58-56 victory over the Blue Hens on December 31. Junior
Ty Greer led Hofstra with 17 points and added seven rebounds. Wright-Foreman chipped in with 15 points. Daly led Delaware with 20 points and 15 rebounds.
Hofstra leads the all-time series with Delaware 53-31 in a series that dates back to a 115-68 Hofstra win in the first-ever meeting during the 1954-55 season. The Pride has won five straight in the series, which ended an eight-game win streak for the Blue Hens against Hofstra.
