Hellertown, PA – Hofstra is in 14th place after the first round of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of the Lehigh Valley Invitational hosted by Lafayette at Silver Creek Country Club. The event is Hofstra's first outing of the spring season.
The Pride shot a team score of 324 (+40) and is 21 strokes behind first round leader Fairfield in the 19 team field.
David Won leads the Pride as he is tied for 15th in the 104-player tournament. The Pride junior shot an opening round 77 (+6).
Eric Shelly is tied for 45th at 81 (+10), while
Sean Cavanaugh is tied for 60th at 82 (+11).
Johnson Ko carded an 84 (+13) and is tied for 76th, while
Kenyon Kautz is tied for 95th at 88 (+17).
Jake Andl, who is competing as an individual entrant, is tie for 29th at 79 (+8).
Fairfield's Matt Schiller sits atop the leaderboard at 71 (E).
