Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra Women's Lacrosse team will look for its first win of the season on Saturday when it hosts Harvard.
First draw control from James M. Shuart Stadium is scheduled for 12 p.m.
Hofstra brings an 0-1 record into the contest after opening the season with a 14-8 defeat at New Hampshire last Saturday. This will be the Crimson's season debut.

Despite dropping its season opener, Hofstra got several strong individual performances.
Graduate attacker
Lindsay Scott led the team with four points (three goals and one assist) in her Hofstra debut, while freshman attacker
Lexi Lenaghan posted two goals in her collegiate debut. Junior attacker
Tiana Parrella added a goal and two assists for the Pride. Senior midfielder
Lindsey Alfano had a solid all-around game for Hofstra with two ground balls, two caused turnovers and a goal.
Harvard compiled an 8-8 record a season ago.
The two teams have met once before with the Crimson earning a 10-6 win in Massachusetts last season. Parrella led the way that day for the Pride as she posted four goals and one assist in the contest.
This will be the first of two straight home games for Hofstra as the Pride will entertain Fairfield on February 27 at 12 p.m. in their next home game after the Harvard encounter.
